In the week from 24th to 27th September 2009 the island Tenerife invites the LET to host the Tenerife Ladies Open 2009 at the shore of Costa Adeje. The golfing week for the Tenerife Ladies Open 2009 starts 21st September with 2 official practice rounds. On Tuesday 22nd September a welcome cocktail Event will be held at the Siam Park and on Wednesday 23rd September the official tournament Pro-Am will be played just before the tournament starts on Thursday 24th September. Title defender is the brit Rebecca Hudson. Past winners: Nikki Garret (2007), Riikka Hakkarainen (2006), Ludivine Kreutz (2005), Diana Luna (2004), Elisabeth Esterl (2003) und Raquel Carriedo (2002). The Golf Course Costa Adeje has been designed by Pepe Gancedo. The view from the golf course is stunning as you have a marvellous view over La Gomera and the mountains of Adeje. The 27 holes include very big greens, many canyons and lakes.
